A mailing list, or a distribution list, is a distribution system via electronic mail which works on the basis of a software which, from a set list of electronic mail addresses, creates a virtual space for debate. It is used to discuss a particular topic, to make consultations, to express opinions or to share knowledge. Therefore, when we want to participate, we will send only one message to an e-mail address which belongs to the mailing list and the message will be received by everyone registered on the list. In the same way, we will receive a copy of any message sent by the rest of the subscribers.
In the mailing lists, it is important to respect the "netiquette". These are some unwritten norms for courtesy and respect between the various users. Care must be taken with expressions used so as not to hurt other people's feelings. It is also recommended not to send messages in html language and not to send attachments, as their weight could exceed the limits admitted by the administration software.
The BalearWeb Mailing List is not moderated. This means that the messages sent to the list are resent (distributed) by the administration software automatically to all the subscribers without any control.
BalearWeb is not responsible for the contents of the messages, but it reserves the right to remove those people from the list who repeatedly ignore the minimum norms of courtesy and friendship, or who by their action impede the communication between the subscribers to the list. In any case, this measure should be an exception.
To participate in the list, first you need to subscribe, and then you will be able to send emails to llista@balearweb.com. It is important to remember that the message will be received by everyone registered on the list.
