Mao Music Festival 2009

Coincides with the 50th anniversary of Jeunesses Musicales from Maó.

Joventuts Musicals de Maó have published on their website an advance of the program of the Mao Music Festival 2009, an event which coincides with the fiftieth anniversary of the founding of this association.

They have confirmed the presence in Menorca of the 12 cellists of the Berlin Philharmonic, the King Singers, Grammy winners 2009; the outstanding American mezzo-soprano Jennifer Larmor; and the virtuoso violinist Dmitry Sitkovtsky as director and soloist of the Orquestra de Cambra Illa Menorca, among others.

A global top quality programme of concerts that will take place this summer in the church of Santa Maria and the Teatre Principal de Maó.
